General, payment and cancellation conditions

Arrival:

Central front office of the Spa Resort Libverda is located in the Hotel Nový Dům. Here will be realized your check-in (from 2:00 pm) and also your check-out (until 10:00 am).

 

ID wristband:

When you arrive and check in at reception you will receive an ID wristband that allows you to use the services you have purchased at Spa Resort Libverda.

Due to the fact that the ID wristband serves as the unique identifier of Spa Resort Libverda clients, it is not possible to provide ID wristbands without firmly fastening them around your wrist.  

ID wristbands are colour-coded according to food type and dining hall. The colours of dining halls are displayed at the entrance.

The ID wristband allows our clients free access to guided tours and social and cultural events organised by Spa Resort Libverda (unless otherwise stated in the resort’s cultural calendar). It further allows clients to claim vouchers for refreshments, e.g. coffee and sweet snacks or a bottle of wine, included in purchased guest packages.

Your ID wristband is fastened around your wrist by our reception staff and must be retained for the entire duration of your stay. A fee of 5,000.- CZK is payable in the event of the intentional damaging or loss of a wristband.

Our wristbands are made of anti-allergenic material, water-resistant and can be used during all of our procedures without restriction.

This identification helps us to further improve the quality of the services we provide.

Discounts:

Individual promotions or discounts cannot be combined with each other. 

Employer payment or invoice payment can be combined with a valid discount. 

 

Cancellation conditions:

Hotel accommodation: 

Cancellations for Spa Resort Libverda should be made AT LEAST 48 HOURS before your expected arrival time. In case of later cancellation will be charged 100% amount of the first night. In the event of an interruption of your stay or early departure, the full price for all services booked will be charged.

Stays package:

  • If the stay is cancelled or shortened 21 -15 days prior to arrival, the 25% of the price for all ordered services will be charged. 
  • If the stay is cancelled or shortened 14 - 8 days prior to arrival, the 50% of the price for all ordered services will be charged. 
  • If the stay is cancelled or shortened 7 and less days prior to arrival, the full price for all ordered services will be charged.
  • In the event of an interruption of your stay or early departure, the full price for all services booked will be charged.

Guarantee with credit card or prepayment is needed. 

If you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so online, by email or contact the hotel reservations department to confirm the cancellation.

LÁZNĚ LIBVERDA, a.s. has the right to change the hotel, but the same or higher category of accommodation according to the order (reservation) must be maintained. This applies to exceptional situations or technical difficulties. All hotels are located within walking distance of the reception and cancellation policies still apply after the change.

If you do not cancel in writing, you will be charged a cancellation fee according to the cancellation policy (also applies to hotel accommodation). The deposit/booking fee is non-refundable.

 

Stays realized between 20th December and 1st January must be paid no later than 30th November, otherwise your reservation may be canceled.

In the case of cancellation of services (stay) for the period of stay 20th December – 1st January, the cancellation fee is:

  • up to 30 days before arrival: no cancellation fee
  • 29-21 days before arrival: 10 % of the total price of stay, min. 500 CZK
  • 20–8 days before arrival: 50 % of the total price of stay, min. 500 CZK
  • 7–0 days before arrival and no-show: 100 % of the total stay price

If you wish to cancel your reservation, it must be canceled on-line, by e-mail, or contact the hotel reservation department to confirm the cancellation.

Non-refundable reservation

When booking with non-refundable conditions, a deposit of 100% of the amount for all ordered services is always required, which is charged to the client's payment card on the day of the reservation and settled during the stay.

In case of cancellation, modification or no-show (the guest does not arrive at the hotel by midnight), the total amount is as a cancellation fee and no part of the payment will be refunded under any circumstances. The reservation is final.

By confirming a reservation with non-refundable conditions, the client acknowledges that there is no legal right to compensation, neither in the event of a change of plans nor in the event of force majeure.

 

Group bookings

A group reservation is a reservation for a minimum of 15 guests. A large group is considered to be more than 50 guests.

As a guarantee, 50% of the total booking value is required as a deposit within 14 days of the booking confirmation; this deposit will be charged against the total payment. The remainder of the payment is required prior to arrival or upon check-in.

Group booking benefits:

  • Room block up to 365 days in advance according to group requirements,
  • Free cancellation up to 10% of the total number of guests up to 15 days before arrival, for large groups up to 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation policy for group bookings (15-49 guests): 

  • up to 30 days before arrival free of charge, 
  • 30-15 days prior to arrival 50% of the total booking price, 
  • 14-0 days prior to arrival and in case of no-show 100% of the total booking price

Cancellation policy for large groups (more than 50 guests):

  • up to 90 days before arrival free of charge,
  • 89-60 days prior to arrival 20% of the total booking price,
  • 59-40 days prior to arrival 30% of the total booking price,
  • 39-30 days prior to arrival 50% of the total booking price,
  • 29-10 days prior to arrival 80% of the total booking price,
  • 9-0 days prior to arrival and in case of no-show 100% of the total booking price.

 

Gift vouchers

Spa Resort Libverda offers vouchers (gift vouchers) for purchase. The voucher can be issued for a specific stay, procedure, name (of the recipient) and value. The standard voucher validity period is 12 months.

After payment we will send it to you by e-mail. If you wish to get it by post, a postage fee of CZK 200 will be charged.

The voucher cannot be returned or exchanged for money.

Services provided by LÁZNĚ LIBVERDA, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) can also be used through gift vouchers. The gift voucher can be redeemed in the appropriate denomination for spa and wellness stays and treatments.

The condition for redeeming the gift voucher is the payment of 100% of the gift voucher price.

The stay/treatment gift voucher can only be redeemed for the specific product indicated on the voucher.

Only a gift voucher issued by the Company or the Bookolo system s.r.o. booking portal and purchased on the Company’s website www.lazne-libverda.cz can be redeemed.

The voucher must be redeemed no later than the expiry date marked on the gift voucher. After this date, the gift voucher cannot be redeemed or a cash refund requested, even if the full value of the gift voucher has not been used. For capacity reasons, the Company recommends arranging a drawdown date as soon as possible.

The validity of the gift voucher can be extended for 2 months for a flat rate of CZK 200, even repeatedly. However, the extension fee must be paid no later than 14 days after the extension and no later than 7 days before the start of the stay.

Purchased gift vouchers are non-refundable. If the buyer is a consumer, the buyer acknowledges that, according to the provisions of Section 1837 of the Civil Code, it is not possible to withdraw from a purchase contract that has been modified according to the wishes of the buyer or for the buyer’s person, from a purchase contract for the delivery of perishable goods, as well as goods that have been irreversibly mixed with other goods after delivery and from a purchase contract for the delivery of goods in sealed packaging that the consumer has removed from the packaging and cannot be returned for hygienic reasons. Unless the above applies or in any other case when the purchase contract cannot be withdrawn from, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract in accordance with the provisions of Section 1829(1) of the Civil Code within 14 days of receipt of the goods, and if the subject of the purchase contract is several types of goods or the delivery of several parts, this period runs from the date of receipt of the last delivery of goods. Withdrawal from the purchase contract must be sent to the Company within the period specified in the previous sentence. The buyer must send the withdrawal from the purchase contract to Spa Resort Libverda, obchodní oddělení, Lázně Libverda 82, 463 62 Lázně Libverda. In the event of a valid withdrawal from the purchase contract, the purchase contract shall be cancelled from the outset. The goods must be returned to the Company within 14 days of withdrawal. If the buyer withdraws from the purchase contract, the buyer bears the costs associated with the return of the goods, even if the goods cannot be returned by the usual postal route due to their nature. In the event of a valid withdrawal from the contract, the Company will return the funds received from the buyer within 14 days of withdrawal from the purchase contract to the buyer by bank transfer. If the buyer withdraws from the purchase contract, the Company is not obliged to return the received funds to the buyer before the buyer returns the goods to the Company or proves that he/she has sent the goods to the Company. The Company is entitled to unilaterally set off the claim for payment for damage to the goods against the buyer’s claim for reimbursement of the purchase price. In cases where the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract in accordance with the provisions of Section 1829(1) of the Civil Code, the Company is also entitled to withdraw from the purchase contract at any time until the buyer takes over the goods. In this case, the Company shall refund the purchase price to the buyer without undue delay, by bank transfer to the bank account specified by the buyer.

Non-smoking areas

All rooms and areas of the spa buildings are non-smoking. In the event of a violation, a fine of CZK 2,000 may be charged and is payable on the day of the guest’s departure from the Resort.

In the case of complex or contributory spa care fully or partially covered by health insurance with repeated violations of the smoking ban, the guest’s stay may be terminated and the health insurance company is subsequently informed.

 

Special diets and dietary requirements 
 

For hotel accommodation and stay packages, a buffet/à la carte meal (according to the chef's offer) is provided as standard. For clients of health insurance companies, continental (served) meals are provided as standard. In the event of a request for special catering, the company LÁZNÁ LIBVERDA, a.s. entitled to demand a surcharge. Requests must be reported at the time of booking or listed in the booking notes. Based on this, an additional fee is charged for the entire duration of the stay. The amount of surcharges to the standard price is (depending on the scope of the ordered meal, the calculation can be processed at the request of the reservation department):

  • gluten-free diet 30%,
  • lactose-free diet 50%
  • vegan diet 50%.
