The entire North Bohemian Region is literally interwoven with cycle routes and trails of varying difficulty. These trails, beginning near Libverda Spa or intersecting the town, will lead you through environs of the Jizera Mountains and bring you to historical monuments and other places in the Frýdlant Headland. The linkage of Czech trails leading out of the country improves each year, so you have the option of cycling to Poland and Germany as well. If you cannot bring your own bicycle, we will be happy to lend you one.
Singltrek pod Smrkem is the first destination of the brand Singltrek in the Czech Republic. This network of trails located under the majestic mountain Smrk surrounded by the lovely and wild northern slopes of the Jizera Mountains, was designed by Welsh mountain bike trail designer Daffyd Davis, recognized as the world’s absolute best in his field.
Libverda Spa lies near the foothills of the Jizera Mountains, where there is a myriad of opportunities and routes for excursions. Nearby is the tallest mountain Smrk - with newly built lookout tower, rocky vistas, waterfalls, the extinct volcano Bukovec and a ruptured dam. All hiking routes are well marked. In the complex itself and near the spa there is a park and several forest trails and routes ready to be enjoyed for walks, rest and sitting.
