Waters Around Raspenava – Walking Tour

We cordially invite you to a relaxing nature walk.

Start: Raspenava, in front of the train station. We will provide transport to the starting location and back.

Destination: Šolcův rybník (Šolc Pond) – parking lot near the dam

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours

Distance: approx. 4 km

Difficulty: easy, flat terrain, paved forest paths

What can you look forward to?

Our destination is two bodies of water with a fascinating past and present. Šolcův rybník is located in the core zone of a Protected Landscape Area (CHKO) and is a popular spot for photographers and wild swimming enthusiasts. On the surrounding rocks, we’ll look for traces of devils from local legends, and just a short walk from the lodge, we'll visit the site where the monumental "Na Hrázi" beech tree rests. We will then continue to the charming and romantic Jiřinkovský Pond. Weather and ground conditions permitting—and with the landowner's consent—we will also visit a hidden wayside shrine in the shade of linden trees.

Price: The price of the trip including transport is 250 CZK. The trip must be booked in advance at the reception of Hotel Nový Dům. The trip takes place with a minimum of 6 participants, with a maximum capacity of 16 people.
