The Snow Queen is Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen's most famous fairy tale, which tells of the cruelty of a queen who imprisons a young boy, Kai, in her icy world. His brave and resourceful friend Gerda, however, never gives up on love and embarks on a dangerous journey to free her beloved boy.
