The spa earned fame already by the late-14th century thanks to the bicarbonate-type healing mineral springs, its peaceful environment and proximity to nature that is so important for rest and relaxation.

There are tennis, volleyball/football courts, sauna, whirlpool, outdoor playground, mini golf, fitness and wellness centre with swimming pool. From Lázně Libverda there are well-marked hiking trails and it is also the starting point for the "Singltrek pod Smrkem", known to all fans of off-road cycling with almost 80 kilometres of various difficulties for experienced athletes and families with children. You can rent bikes and electric bikes here. You will have the Jizera Mountains in the palm of your hand.
